ABOUT BAALVEER RETURN

Baalveer Returns is an Indian fantasy television series. It started premiering on 10 September 2019 on Sony SAB, starring Dev Joshi, and Vansh Sayani in the titular lead roles of Baalveers. It is a sequel of Baal Veer, which ran from 2012 to 2016. It is produced by Optimystix Entertainment with screenplay by Manoj Tripathi.[1]

The series aired on Sony SAB's sister channel Sony Pal since 21 November 2020 at 6 PM IST daily.

Season 1 – Veer Lok vs Kaal Lok

Timnasa, an evil enchantress and the queen of Kaal Lok (Dark Realm), begins a quest to rule the whole universe and become the most powerful and evil entity. She attacks and destroys the Pari Lok (Fairy Realm), but Baalveer saves the surviving fairies, who are Masti Pari (Fun Fairy), Pani Pari (Water Fairy), Vayu Pari (Wind Fairy), Jwala Pari (Fire Fairy), Dhwani Pari (Sound Fairy), Netra Pari (Vision Fairy), Saral Pari (Simple Fairy) and the leader of the Fairies, Baal Pari (Tress Fairy) who is also Baalveer's adoptive mother. They find refuge in Veer Lok (Brave Realm) whose leader is a white lion, Shaurya. Baalveer becomes weaker with every passing moment as he was injured in the attack. On Shaurya's instructions, Baalveer goes to Earth as Dev, with the fairies as his sisters, to find his younger successor, the next Baalveer, as he needs help to fight Timnasa.

On the other hand, Timnasa captures Saral Pari and Netra Pari. Saral Pari does not reveal anything to Timnasa and, hence is devoured by Akroor, Timnasa's loyal black panther. Timnasa reads Netra Pari's mind and learns of the new Baalveer. Timnasa possesses the Netra Pari and goes to the Earth to fulfill her villainous intents.

The new Baalveer is a very mischievous ten-year-old boy named Vivaan. He soon becomes rivals with Baalveer, not knowing that he is the next Baalveer. Soon, Baalveer as Dev discloses his reality to Vivaan and takes him to Veer Lok where his Veer Tilak takes place and he is soon made to realize his destiny while battling Timnasa and her agents and makes Vivaan the new 'Junior Baalveer'. In the middle of this, Timnasa lures Baal Pari into Kaal Lok by lying that the little girl who she had ousted from the Pari Lok long ago has been cursed. Bhaymar, Timnasa's right-hand man attacks Baal Pari with his powers. Meanwhile, Timnasa performs the Supreme Dark veneration and turns the motherly Baal Pari into the evil Kaal Pari (Dark Fairy), who retains her good side back later. Both the Baalveers, the fairies, and Shaurya cross all the hurdles and fight with Timnasa, by foiling her plans all the time.

A long time ago, Timnasa had captured Sarvakaal, a monstrous sage of the Dark Realm (who was Timnasa's teacher and taught her black magic), as he knows the identity of the person who'll kill Timnasa. However, Sarvakaal refuses to reveal the hidden power's identity to Timnasa despite her repeated attempts to know her fate. When Baalveer arrives at Kaal Lok to attack Timnasa, he accidently finds the prison where Sarvakaal is kept captive by Timnasa. Sarvakaal upon seeing Baalveer, tells him about Timnasa's past, about how she was banished from Pari Lok where she was a Pari and was made Baalveer for a day because of her evil and egoistic intentions.

Baalveer acknowledges this and pretends to lose his powers and memory and stays as a commoner with Vivaan and his family, as his foster brother Debu. He acquires a new avatar, Naqabposh. He befriends Ananya, a girl who was tricked by Timnasa into doing her work (by threatening to kill her mother) and also receives help from Sarvakaal who wants to avenge Timnasa for capturing him. Naqabposh also rescues Ananya's mother. They together go to Earth to find the hidden power which is destined to kill Timnasa.

While doing so, it is revealed that Vivaan is Ananya's long-lost brother, and their biological mother is Devaki, the former queen of Shwet Lok (White Realm) which Timnasa had turned into Kaal Lok, the Dark Realm. Vivaan gets heart-broken as he realizes that Karuna is not her real mother and his entire life has been a lie. But Vivaan overcomes this and Vivaan, Naqabposh, and Ananya form the 'Team Shadow'. Vivaan (who is the hidden power who is destined to kill Timnasa) overcomes the hurdles in the Tridwara Chakravuyah and takes Sarvakaal's infinite energy. By this new power he puts an end to Timnasa's trinity and her companions. Bhaymaar is killed by Naqabposh, Akroor by Shaurya and Jabdali by Vivaan. Only Tauba Tauba remains alive. During the battle, Masti Pari gets killed by Bhaymar and Vayu Pari and Jwala Pari sacrifice themselves as Timnasa's weapons hit them, to protect the Earth.

Later, when Debu opens the secret message of Timnasa, which she had given to Vivaan to hand it over to Debu, before her death, Timnasa's spirit tells Debu that his biological parents were killed by Shaurya and the fairies.

Season 2 – Veer Lok vs Shinkai

The new season unveils the underwater kingdom of Shinkai, which is ruled by Jalraj Kaikos. The commander-in-chief Bambaal plots to rule over the whole universe, along with his sidekick Milsa. Bambaal reveals the story of an egg in Shinkai to Milsa, and tells her that a man will be born from it, prophesied to be the ultimate, and that he awaits his birth.

Shaurya tells Baalveer and Vivaan about a chemical scientist of the Veer Lok, named Jaikaas who had turned evil and plotted to make a weapon that would destroy the earth in 2020. He was stopped by Shaurya and hence he tried to escape with his two newborn twin sons. Shaurya attacked Jaikaas, for the sake of goodness, and one son fell in a desert while Jaikaas' vehicle landed at sea. It is revealed that the son, who fell in the desert was the younger one and he is the Senior Baalveer (which Baalveer is not allowed to know) and Jaikaas, before dying, protected his son who fell with him in the sea by putting him in an unbreakable egg which could only be broken after 20 years and he is the one Bambaal awaits. When he comes out of the egg, he is named Ray by Bambaal.m

Debu wants to know about his past from Shaurya and Baalpari, his adoptive mother but he fails and finally gives up. He is made Baalveer again in Vivaan's presence to conceal Naqabposh's secret. Ray needs the blood of a powerful entity to unleash his powers and to destroy the poison which spreads in him due to staying in the egg for a long period. Ananya thinks that Ray is Naqabposh and falls in love with him. Baalveers capture Milsa but Bambaal secretly kills her to hide his identity from Debu and Vivaan. Bambaal and Ray are soon helped by Birba, Bambaal's another loyalist. Baalveer tells Vivaan his truth, about him being Naqabposh and the act of losing his powers and memory, leaving him shocked. Bambaal finds out that Debu is the other Baalveer. Vivaan is then captured in the Kavag egg. Debu tries to open the egg but fails after multiple attempts; He goes to Veer Lok to take Shaurya's help in order to save Vivaan from being trapped in the egg for 20-long years. Shaurya gives Baalveer the 'Akhand-Bramhaand Chaabi" a powerful key that can only be made by Pari Tara and that too once in its lifetime. When Baalveer heads over to Earth with the key, Ray tricks him and exchanges the real key, and puts a fake one. The fake key causes the egg to shrink. Ray changes his voice and asks Debu to give his blood in exchange for the real key to open the egg. The trade takes place when Baalveer is left with no other option but to give his blood. When he gets back the key, he opens the Kavag egg and Vivaan is back to normal, however, Ray's full powers are unleashed by Debu's blood.

Both sides now want to increase their power. Ray can increase his power by making nine good children bad and will have an extra head every time a child turns bad to turn into a ten-headed Ravana form.

Baalveer and Vivaan have to increase their power by their goodness to make the Param Dhanush. Though there are many unfavourable circumstances, Both the Baalveers are successful in making the Param Dhanush. On the other side, Ray is also successful in making his 10 heads. On the other hand, Vivaan goes to Shinkai and finds the balloons in which the souls of the children have been trapped and returns successfully. A fierce battle breaks out between Ray and the two Baalveers. The battle is won by the Baalveers using the Param Dhanush against Ray and he loses his Ravana form. All the children's good souls are freed.

As a result of the battle, both the Baalveers and Ray lose their powers for two days. Birba sends Ray some chemicals to make explosive bombs. Ray spreads landmines made by Birba in the form of mosquitoes. The people of Bharatnagar are trapped in those mines.

The Baalveers discover that the people of Bharat Nagar can be saved by airlifting them using a helicopter. The two Baalveers go for booking a chopper. The Shinkai villains try to stop them but are unsuccessful. Meanwhile, at Bharat Nagar, all the people climb onto the helicopter using a military net. The Shinkai villains try to stop them again but due to Pari Tara penance Baalveers receive their magic powers and stop them. Later Vivaan clears the memory of all but Ananya does not let Vivaan clear her memory and Vivaan has to reveal Debu's truth. Baalveer goes to tackle Bambaal and manages to capture him.

After knowing Debu's truth, Ananya demands of becoming a fairy. Baal Pari tells Ananya, that if Shaurya agrees, then she will become a fairy in Veer Lok. In Veer Lok, Bambaal escapes and reaches the past showing device of Veer Lok and learns the truth of 2 decades ago. Baal Pari informs Shaurya about this and they announce a death sentence for Bambaal, leaving Baalveer suspicious about his decision. Meanwhile, Baalveer has a nightmare in which he loses his family including the members of Veer Lok.

After knowing Ananya will also get powers, Ray and Birba plan to kidnap Ananya and ruin the Pari-Tilak ceremony in order to release Bambaal from Veer Lok's captivity. Birba then manages to make Ananya wear the bangle which she had invented. Ray makes Ananya tiny so that she is not visible and audible to anyone. She is trapped inside a Diya by Ray. Baalpari consults Shaurya about whether she should tell Baalveer the reality or not. Shaurya denies and tells her to wait for the right time, because if she tells the truth to Baalveer now, then the fire of his anger may burn the whole universe.

Later in the evening, Birba (in the form of Ananya) is taken to Veer Lok for her Pari-Tilak. Meanwhile, Vivaan finds out that the real Ananya is trapped in the diya and one who is in Veer Lok is one of the Shinkai villains. Baal Pari imprisons Bambaal in her locket so he doesn't reach Baalveer. Ray figures it out with his magical powers and tells Birba about it. Birba attacks Baal Pari and snatches the locket from her. Baalveers follow Birba who then frees Bambaal from the necklace. They use the Mrityu Kaksh Cannon on Baal Veers. Bambaal finally discloses the secret of 2 decades ago, expecting that Baal Veer will attack Shaurya. But after hearing the story, Baal Veer instead gets enraged at Bambaal for blaming Shaurya as Shaurya is his idol. Ray opens a special portal through which he escapes along with Bambaal and Birba but Baal Veer follows them and shoots five arrows at Bambaal. Thinking that Bambaal is dead, in a rage, Ray uses the Mrityu Kaksh Cannon and kills Baal Veer and before dying Baal Veer realizes that Ray is the actual evil Shinkai entity, but he is unable to tell anyone since he is injured badly by the cannon and dies shortly. Ray vows to avenge the Baalveers and destroy Veer Lok and righteousness from the whole universe.

Karuna is told by Vivaan that Debu's memory came back and he left their house to go back to his old life. Meanwhile, Baalveer returns home and tells that he is sorry and has returned to stay. But no one seems to hear him. Debu realizes that no one can see or hear him and realises he is a spirit (soul).

Ray comes and consoles Vivaan and Ananya so that he can betray them in secret. Debu tries to keep him away from them but he isn't able to do so. He goes to Veer Lok, but no one can see him and in the grief of Baal Veer's passing away, Shaurya takes Mausoleum and leaves Veer Lok and all his powers and responsibility in the hands of Baal Pari.

In Bharat Nagar, Vivaan gets Rinkoo's toy through which they can contact to spirits around them and they find that Debu's spirit is nearby. They talk to him while Ray plans to use the toys made by other kids to harm them by turning them into powerful weapons. But Vivaan and Ananya aren't able to contact with Debu as he is called by God. When Debu meets God, he is given 10 days due to his good deeds. Meanwhile, in Bharatnagar, the evil toys start to trouble the people of Bharatnagar. Vivaan then learns that by taking the battery out of the toys will solve this problem and takes battery of all the toys. At the same time, Debu comes in his new look with new power on earth and helps Vivaan. In Veer Lok, Baalpari tells Vivaan that no power on Veer Lok is capable of destroying these toys. Only the Amrit (Divine Nectar) can stop them, which is neither in Veer Lok, nor on earth.

When Vivaan returns to earth, he sees that the toys have created chaos again and send the toys away in space. After some time suddenly Vivaan, Ananya and other people of Bharatnagar feel the shaking of earth. Vivaan sees that a robot has come destroy the Bharatnagar which has an exploder inside. On the other hand, Ananya starts the process of making Charanaamrit. With the help of Debu, Ananya and other children, Vivaan are able to destroy the robot. Meanwhile, Ray gets to know the invisible power is Debu. Ananya says that she could help Vivaan if she had magical powers. He agrees and finally in Veer Lok, Ananya's Pari-Tilak starts. She gets the power of Pari Tara as well as from all fairies and Junior Baalveer. Meanwhile, in Shinkai with the help of the eyes of a dangerous fish, Birba makes a pair of spectacles which has the power of seeing, touching and hearing souls. In Veer Lok, Jwala pari and Vayu Pari return in their new avatar and everyone is happy about it. Ray uses magic and is successful in calling Debu in front of him. He challenges Debu to defeat him. While doing so, they arrive at Bharatnagar where Vivaan has spread magical seeds and find Debu. God gets impressed by Vivaan's love and care for Debu and gives Debu his human form back.

Some days later, after Debu gets his human form back, Shaurya at Veer Lok (who has come back from Mausoleum) advises the two Baalveers to stay alert about the upcoming dangers. For protection, he also gives them the Maha Suraksha Kavach. Meanwhile, in Shinkai, Ray conspires a vicious plot involving a Siberian Elephant. He tells his partners in crime, Birba and Tauba Tauba (Brigenza), about how he will trap Vivaan by making the Siberian Elephant attack him, Debu and the people of Bharatnagar. As planned, the Siberian Elephant is separated from her calf by Ray who had been in Vivaan's disguise and the Elephant attacks the people of Bharatnagar. During this fight, Debu, Vivaan and Ananya's truth comes out infront of the people of Bharatnagar.

He lived in Pari Lok (Fairy Realm) for years but later moved to Veer Lok (Brave Realm) after PariLok's (Fairy Realm's) destruction, along with the fairies who survived the massacre under Shaurya's protection and guidance. He pretended to have lost his memory and powers to accomplish his mission.   • Vansh Sayani as Vivaan/Junior Baalveer or Baalveer's successor and the savior of Dharti Lok. Vivaan is the biological son of Queen Devaki and King Aditya Pratap and the adopted son of Karuna. He is the biological younger brother of Ananya and the adoptive younger brother of Khushi. He protected Dharti Lok and Veer Lok for many months when Baalveer was away pretending to lose his powers and memory in order to complete an important mission. He is the secret superpower (Chhupi Shakti) who was destined to kill the evil Queen of Kaal Lok, Timnasa. He then set out with his team to the Tri-Dwar Chakravyuh to reach Sarvkaal under the guidance of Shaurya. He successfully manages to cross it and then Obtains Sarvkaal's Anant Pran Urja (infinite vital energy). He then killed Timnasa and her assistant Jabdali in the Antim Yudh(the Ultimate Battle).   • Pavitra Punia as Timnasa /Tanisha, the evil queen of Dark Realm and a big enemy of the Baalveers. She was called 'Bhay Rani' (Queen of Fear). Timnasa was banished from Fairy Realm by Baalpari because of her ego and evil. To take revenge on Baalpari and the people of Fairy Realm, Timnasa went to Dark Realm, imprisoned the sage Sarvakaal, and became the Queen.   • Anahita Bhooshan as Ananya, a gymnast and member of Bharat Nagar Society who lives as a paying guest at Mr. Munna Mishra's residence. Ananya is a fan of Baal Veer and later of Naqabposh. She was assigned by Timnasa to keep an eye on Vivaan by blackmailing her. She is later revealed to be the daughter of Aditya Pratap and Devaki and Princess of Shweta Lok. Aditya Pratap was killed and Devaki was captured by Timnasa. Ananya is the biological elder sister of Vivaan, the secret power (Chhupi Shakthi)who was destined to kill Timnasa. (2020)
